Notice to Cosigner “Never test the depth of the credit water
with both feet.”
As I say in the book, cosigning is signing.
Here is a copy of the notice to cosigner form we use in my dealership. We ask any person who is cosigning on a loan to sign this document before the car is purchased.
Some dealerships will offer this type of explanation to cosigners, some won’t. I want my customers to recognize how serious cosigning is.
