There is no such thing as credit repair. I cannot overemphasize the importance of understanding this. It’s not going to happen. It’s not possible. And it should be illegal to claim otherwise.
The notion of credit repair takes advantage of the person in debt by using a smoke-and-mirrors, slight-of-hand, magician’s approach. Credit repair companies claim they can remove or hide negative information from your credit report, even if that information is true. And the worst part about it is, credit repair will hurt your credit more than it will help.
