Cosigning “Co-signing sounds second team, but don’t be fooled.
Co-signing puts the co-signer on the first team of obligation to the loan.”
Love and credit.
If you cosign for someone you’d better love them. Because if you cosign for someone you are equally as obligated to the loan as the person you cosigned for. If the signer defaults on the loan, you will have to pay. And if this happens, love is the only thing that will keep you from killing them.
I don’t care what anyone tells you, I don’t care how casual the salesperson makes it sound: cosigning is signing.
